Total Care Pediatrics Covid-19 Message

We understand parental concerns about visiting a clinic right now. Total Care Pediatrics wants you to know that the health and safety of your child, your family, our community, and our staff are our primary concern. Unlike offices with more than one provider, there is only one appointment slot at a time here. We offer services to prevent going to multiple places. We are exceeding CDC, OSHA, and AAP recommendations for cleaning and safety. Call us for more information!

Posttraumatic Stress Disorder—Behavioral Issues in Child Care and Schools

  • Created in behavioral_and_psychosocial_issues
Children with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are most easily identified if caregivers and child care and early education professionals are aware that they have experienced a significant trauma in their past, including a motor vehicle crash, significant medical procedure, house fire, natural disaster, sexual or physical abuse, or exposure to family interpersonal violence or neighborhood violence.
